Ben Human Remix 2004, add. production by M. Scheibenreiter/ Phoneheads
The trio hits it off here with their breathtaking version of the Russ Freeman composition “Happy Little Sunbeam”,  taken from recently discovered recordings at Chateau Fleur De Lys/ Atlanta, right after Elsa and her husband had moved overseas for touring the US and bringing in Peter Brunner on drums. We are listening to outstanding breaks within this amazing tune delivering Elsie`s unique piano timings in an uncompromising uptempo style! Elsie comments nowadays, that she had to learn these hard driven piano lines just because of a common performance with Chet Baker on Zuerich radio, date unknown because too difficult to remember today – but is there anybody out there with old Zuerich radio recordings on his shelf?

This unique rendition of "Happy Little Sunbeam" is previously unreleased and available on Sonorama 7inch only so don`t miss it! On the flip you`re gonna find the contemporary club remix by the grace of English producer and ex-Corduroy mastermind Ben Addison aka Ben Human from the Unique family, reducing the piano motif to its essence in a deconstructed electro boogie & drum`n`bass swinger, additionally sharpened by the production skills of Michael Scheibenreiter from Phoneheads/ Combination.
A really swingin` combination here so you dancefloor addicts know what to expect.
